    Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort

Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort is one of the premier public golf resorts in Palm Springs, CA. Serving as Palm Springs Municipal Golf Course, the course was originally designed in 1957. It was originally 9 holes and the back 9 was added shortly later in 1959. Later, Arnold Palmer Golf Management added 40 bunkers in 1996 to enhance the character and challenge of the traditional layout. The layout features an island fairway, multiple water features combined with flowers and magnificent views of surrounding mountains. Another notable feature is how the course runs parallel to the Palm Canyon Wash – it even has three holes that play over the Tahquitz Canyon wash. These various changes over the years have led to a course noted for its fairness to all golfers playing just over 6,700 yards located in a truly beautiful and central location in the Coachella Valley. This iconic golf course has also received accolades from Golf Digest who rated Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort as “One of the Best Places to Play” for golf resorts. No matter your skill level, one thing is for sure a day on the course at Tahquitz will be an unforgettable experience.
